How to preview and send the drop email

When you publish with the email, Wedibox opens a short email editor before anything goes out. You can keep the wording, make it yours, and preview it exactly as the couple will read it. The link to their drop is added for you. The same editor opens when you send the link again later.

Before you start

  • Save the couple’s email on the Share tab first. Publishing needs it.
  • The names, the gallery name, and your brand name fill in on their own. You do not type them.

Steps

  1. Click Publish, then Continue to email. The “Make it personal” editor opens with the line “Add your own words before sending their gallery.” The To field shows the saved address and the Subject is prefilled.

  2. Write the message. The Message box takes bold, italics, and line breaks. Use Insert to drop in the couple’s names, the gallery name, or your brand name as tokens; they fill in automatically. The Signature box sits underneath.

  3. Click Preview. The email renders as the couple will see it, with the View gallery button in place. The note under it reads “Your gallery link is added automatically. Email apps may display spacing differently.” Click Edit email to go back.

  4. Save your wording if you like it. Click Save as my default. The toast “Saved as your default for new galleries.” confirms it, and every new drop starts from these words. Reset wording brings the stock text back.

  5. Click Publish & send. The drop goes live and the email goes out in the same step. The Share tab reads “Link sent to [email].” and the timeline under How it is going records it.

Sending it again

On a published drop click Send by email on the Share tab. The same editor opens. Change the To address if you want: any address works, so a parent or a planner can get the link too. Click Send email.

What you should see

The couple receives the email with your words, your signature, and the View gallery button. On your side the timeline reads “You sent the link to [email]”, and the first time they open the drop it adds “opened it for the first time”.

If something goes wrong

  • Continue to email is grey. The couple’s email is not saved yet. Add it on the Share tab and try again.
  • “Could not save your default. Please try again.” The connection dropped while saving. Your message is still in the editor; click Save as my default again.
  • The couple did not get it. Ask them to check spam for a message from hello@wedibox.com, then send it again to a second address, or click Copy link and send it yourself.
