How to create a new drop
For creatorsDrops account
Once you have been through the first-drop wizard, every new drop starts from a short popup: who it is for, when the wedding was, and where to send it. The drop page opens right after, and that is where you add the files. Nothing reaches the couple until you publish.
Plan: Drops account · Where: sidebar → + New gallery (or wedibox.com/d/new)
Before you start
- Have the couple’s names and the wedding date.
- Your first drop is free. From the second drop on, you can still create and fill drops without a plan, but publishing one asks you to choose a plan first.
Steps
-
Click + New gallery. It is the first button in the sidebar and also sits at the top right of the dashboard. The New drop popup opens.

-
Type the Gallery title. Usually the couple’s names, up to 200 characters. It becomes the heading on the drop page and the second part of the link, which you can change later.
-
Pick the Event date. Click the field and choose the wedding date in the picker. The couple sees it under the title.
-
Add the Client email, or leave it empty. With an email, Wedibox sends the couple their link the moment you publish. You can also add it later on the drop’s Share tab.
-
Click Create drop. The button stays grey until the title and date are in and the email, if any, looks valid.

What you should see
The new drop opens at its own page with the Media, Personalize, and Share tabs and a Draft chip next to the title. The Media tab shows the upload area and an Import from Dropbox or Google row. In the sidebar the drop appears under Galleries as “Draft · 0 files”.
If something goes wrong
- Create drop stays grey. The date is missing, or the email has a typo. The popup does not show a message for an invalid email; it only turns the field red.
- “We could not create the gallery. Check your connection and try again.” The request did not reach Wedibox. Click Create drop again once you are online.
- The wizard opens instead of the popup. The first-drop guide is still active. Finish it, or click I’ll do this later at the bottom of the wizard.
