You don’t need a full wedding website to use Wedibox’s seating chart. The standalone Seating Chart product is exactly one thing: a digital seating chart with a public page where guests look up their seat by name. It has its own free tier, its own one-time upgrade, and its own dashboard, completely separate from the Free / Wedding / All-in-One plans.

If you hit the free cap mid-build, the editor tells you plainly (“Free plan limited to 3 tables.”) with an Upgrade for unlimited link. Upgrading is a single payment, not a subscription.
Your dashboard
Seating-only events get their own home: the Seating Dashboard, with four tabs.
- Seating Chart: the chart builder. Create charts, add round or rectangle tables, and assign guests to seats.
- Guest List: add guest names (“Add guest names to make them available for seating assignment”), first and last name plus an Add Guest button. No RSVP forms, no contact details, just names to seat.
- Share: “Your Event QR & URL”, with your QR code, a DOWNLOAD QR CODE button, a Preview Page link, the copyable public link, and sample table cards and signs with your QR code built in.
- Plan & Billing: the Free and Premium cards above; upgrading opens a payment form titled “Upgrade to Premium” (“Get unlimited tables and no Wedibox branding”).
What guests get
Your Share tab’s link and QR open a standalone seat-lookup page: a search box (“Type your name”), then a welcome card with the guest’s table name and seat number, plus a three-step explainer (Search → Locate → Enjoy). On the free tier the page carries a small “Powered by Wedibox” footer; Premium removes it.
Choose the standalone product if…
- You already have a wedding website elsewhere and only want digital seat lookup.
- You’re planning a non-wedding event, like a gala, banquet, or corporate dinner.
- You want the free tier: three tables cover a small dinner without paying anything.
Choose the All-in-One plan instead if you also want photo sharing, RSVP, a guestbook, and a wedding page. Its seating chart is included, with the same guest lookup built into your site.
FAQ
Is the $49 a subscription? No. It’s a one-time payment for that event.
How many guests can I seat? There’s no guest cap on either tier; the free tier limits tables (3), not people.
Can guests see the whole chart? No. Guests search their own name and see their own table and seat. Table politics stay private.
How do I start one? Use the seating chart maker on wedibox.com and sign up when prompted. The setup walks you through your first table, your first guest, and your event details, then drops you into the Seating Dashboard.
