How to add Wedibox to a The Knot website

Embed widgetEmbed widget

The Knot’s website builder doesn’t accept custom code, so the Wedibox widget can’t sit directly on the page. Wedibox handles this with a link integration: you get a shareable link to your photo collection page (uploads and gallery in one place) and add that link to your The Knot site.

Plan: Embed widget · Where: wedibox.com/w/embed/setup → select The Knot

Before you start

  • Have your The Knot wedding website live and know how to open its editor.
  • The Free embed plan (up to 50 uploads) covers setup and testing.

Steps

  1. Create your Wedibox photo collection. Go to wedibox.com/w/embed/setup, select The Knot as your platform, enter your event name and date, and create your free account. Because The Knot can’t host code, Wedibox prepares a shareable link for you instead of a snippet.

  2. Copy your photo page link. On the Add to Your Website step, click Copy. Your link looks like wedibox.com/w/photo-collection/your-names, and this screen also shows a step-by-step walkthrough for The Knot.

  3. Add the link to your The Knot site. In The Knot’s website editor, open a page guests will actually visit (a custom page, your FAQ, or your schedule), add a text block, and paste the link with a clear label like “Upload your photos here.”

  4. Publish and test. Publish your changes, open your The Knot site on your phone, tap the link, and do a test upload from the Share Your Photos button.

What you should see

The link opens your photo collection page with your names, date, upload button, and gallery. Uploads land on your embed dashboard in real time, and the Active Installations card on the Overview tab records where the link is being used. For the reception, download your QR code with the Download button in the QR card on the Overview tab. Table cards do more work than any website link once guests are at the venue.

If something goes wrong

  • Guests can’t find the link. The Knot pages get long. Add the link near the top of a page guests check (FAQ or schedule) and repeat it after the wedding-party section.
  • Guests see “Uploads are currently closed”. On a paid plan, check your upload window in the Event Timeline card on your dashboard’s Overview tab.
