Here’s the rule that explains everything: you can build every section on every plan, free included; the plan controls what guests see. Nothing you build is ever locked away or lost; a section that isn’t covered by your plan simply doesn’t render on the guest page until you upgrade, and appears the moment you do.

A few practical consequences:
- Locked buttons disappear cleanly. If your header has an RSVP or Find Your Seat button but your plan doesn’t include it yet, guests simply don’t see that button ; there’s no broken link and no “upgrade” nag shown to your guests.
- The editor never stops you. You can write your love story, load the schedule, and build the RSVP form on the Free plan today, then upgrade the week you share the link.
- Uploads have their own cap. Photo sharing works on Free, but stops at 50 guest uploads; paid plans remove the cap.
Choose your plan by what’s on your page
- Stay on Free if your page is a landing spot: names, date, cover photo, a scavenger hunt, and up to 50 guest photos.
- Choose Wedding if photos and the guestbook are the point; unlimited uploads and video, plus written messages and voicemails.
- Choose All-in-One if this page is your actual wedding website: RSVP, schedule, travel, registry, FAQs, wedding party, seating lookup, and song requests all live behind the one link and QR code.
FAQ
What does “upgrade required” actually mean? Only that guests can’t see that section yet. Your work is saved and fully editable; the section renders on your live page as soon as your plan includes it.
If I build sections on Free, do I lose them if I never upgrade? No. Everything stays saved in your editor and preview. Guests just see the free-plan sections in the meantime.
Does everything appear immediately after upgrading? Yes; sections you already built show on your live page right away, with no re-publishing step.
Will my link or QR code change when I upgrade? No. The link and QR code stay the same across plan changes, so anything already printed keeps working.
Where do messages and voicemails fit; they’re not page sections? They’re guest interactions on your page (the “Leave a Message” and “Leave a Voicemail” buttons). They unlock on the Wedding plan; the buttons stay hidden from guests until then.
