Your Wedibox setup checklist before the wedding
Getting startedAll plans
This is the whole journey from “just created an event” to “guests are uploading,” in the order that works. It mirrors the Do this next checklist on your event’s Overview: work through the phases below and that checklist empties itself. Most couples finish phases 1–2 in an evening and leave printing for the month before the wedding.
Phase 1: Create your event and learn the dashboard
Get the account, the page, and the lay of the land.
- How to create your Wedibox event: names, style, account, and the setup wizard.
- A tour of your event dashboard: where everything lives, so the rest of this list goes faster.
Phase 2: Customize your page
Make the page yours before anyone sees it.
- How to build your wedding website with Wedibox: one screen: Guest Interactions tiles, your section list, and a live preview.
- How to choose a design template: pick the look; everything else inherits it.
- How to claim a custom wedding website link: reserve wedibox.com/w/your-names before someone else does.
Phase 3: Set up the guest features you picked
Only what you turned on. Skip what you didn’t.
- How to set up online RSVP for your wedding: form, questions, and (if you use one) your guest list.
- How to set up an audio guestbook for your wedding: voicemails guests record from their own phones.
- How to make a wedding seating chart online: tables, seats, and guest lookup.
- How to collect song requests from wedding guests: a shared playlist your DJ will thank you for.
Phase 4: Test it yourself
Ten minutes now saves you a wedding-day surprise.
- How to do a test upload before the wedding: scan your own QR code and upload one photo (there’s a discount in it for you).
- Upload settings explained: decide who sees uploads, whether anonymous posts are allowed, and whether uploads need a password.
Phase 5: Pick your plan and activate
Activation starts your upload window. Time it to your wedding, not to today.
- Wedibox plans compared: Free, Wedding, All-in-One: what each plan unlocks for guests.
- How to activate your event: choose a plan and activate now or schedule a date.
- Activation date vs. wedding date: how timing works: the one timing decision worth reading about first.
Phase 6: Download your QR code and print it
The code never changes, so print as early as you like.
- How to get your wedding QR code: download it from your Overview.
- How to test your QR code before printing: one scan before you commit to 100 cards.
- How to order printed QR cards and table signs: or print it yourself.
Phase 7: Share it
- How to publish your wedding website and share it: send the link ahead of the day.
- Where to place QR codes at your wedding: tables, bar, guestbook table, photo booth.
- How to run a live photo slideshow at your reception: uploads on the big screen keep more uploads coming.
You’re done when
- Your page looks right on your own phone, and your custom link is claimed.
- You’ve scanned your own code and see your test photo in the gallery.
- Your plan is active (or activation is scheduled for the right date).
- Printed codes are at the venue plan, and the link is in your group chats.
- The Do this next card on your Overview says everything is handled.
